Stevie Shao
Stevie Shao is a Seattle-born and raised illustrator and muralist celebrated for her vibrant, folk art–inspired creations that intertwine Pacific Northwest flora and fauna with Chinese cultural motifs. Her work often features mythical creatures and symbolic narratives, reflecting her Chinese American heritage and a deep reverence for the natural world.
Beyond murals, Shao's portfolio encompasses digital illustrations, woodcut paintings, and textile designs. Her work has been showcased in galleries nationwide.
On June 18th, during the Carhenge Mural Festival Stevie will teach a studio workshop utilizing shapes and colors to create animal illustrations with paper collage.
